My mother 4 years ago began her immigration process but this firm took it upon themselves to take her money and not tell her that they would not do anything about her case. They did not bother to inform her that they would hold her paperwork. Now they call her 4 years later to tell her that the application price has increased and that she needs to send more. My mother then asked why if she had sent it 4 years ago because every time she would call the office they would tell her they were still waiting (meaning they were waiting to hear about her case since her paperwork had been submitted not that they were waiting to submit). They proceeded to tell her that they wanted to wait due to the administration in office at that time. They never gave her the option to decide if she wanted to wait or go ahead and submit. These last 4 years now seem like a waste. As a law firm they are paid to give the best advice but they should not take it upon themselves to decide for their client. In these past 4 years we would have consulted other firms and deliberated on what was best for our family if we had know her paperwork had not been submitted. Poor communication and poor professionalism.
