Working with Rebecca was not the experience I hoped for, sadly. First, the woman is impossible to get in touch with unless she needs something from you. Every phone call with her seemed as if she was in a rush to get off the phone. When it came to settling out my daughters father and my differences and putting in place an agreement, I basically lost. I didn't stand a chance with her representing me. Now that I have looked over the plan made a few years ago it upsets me to remember that I basically had my family pay for someone to just stand near me during this. She didn't really fight back like an attorney should. She lacked passion, motivation and any urge to stand out and win. I basically got 50/50 custody with no assistance in any costs for my daughter. Everything was to be divided equally. Mind you he worked for NBC sports group and at the time I was a stay at home mom for 4 years, found a quick waitress job to help support myself while I finished school. My tips were reported and taxed and even then they assumed I made equal to his 65-70K. What a joke. I was awarded $400 a month in child support BUT she never fully went through the proper procedures to make sure I got the money. Of course baby daddy did not pay and wages were never garnished and trying to reach her after she got her money was impossible. Never returned my calls and never pushed for him to pay the money. 2 years later and still not a dime. My advice - Don't hire her, you would be better off paying a homeless man to stand beside you through court.
I have had a positive experience with Attorney Goodrich. She is thorough, personable, and has given me the guidance I need.
If I was given the choice of using her I would represent myself! She is conservator of a family members finances and she can’t so much as stay on top of the mail, never mind anything else.
Rebecca was the GAL appointed to my divorce case in 2007. She was inexperienced, unprofessional, lacked compassion and instrumental in the destruction of my family.
Awful experience. She was derelict in her duties as an attorney, disorganized, never on time. Had to find another who take of us quite well.
