My experience with Rick Salinas was very frustrating. I hired him to represent me in federal court and paid him $20,000 upfront like he asked. He didn’t give me a receipt, and later claimed I still owed him $5,000. I showed him proof of the bank wire, but he kept insisting I hadn’t paid in full. On top of that, he stopped showing up to my court hearings, leaving me without proper representation. This was unprofessional and caused me a lot of stress. I would not recommend Rick Salinas as an attorney.

I had a very disappointing experience with Rick Salinas. I paid him $10,000 upfront to represent me, but during our first in-person meeting, he made assumptions about my guilt and treated me like a criminal. I decided to terminate his services immediately after that meeting. Despite the limited time he spent on my case—less than 10 minutes—he refused to refund any portion of the payment. I would strongly recommend seeking any other attorney besides Rick Salinas.

I never spoke with Mr. Salinas, so I can't say anything about him. His assistant, or whoever the female is in this office, is notably unprofessional. She'd talk on the phone at me - not with me. She spoke to me as if I were the prosecutor: she'd cut me off, speak over me, and wouldn't stop unless I raised my voice back at her. I don't understand why she would do this. I never started the phone call in an aggressive manner - after all, I'm calling those who are helping my son. She also put the fear of God into my wife with absolute, nearly impossible, nearly improbable, worst-case scenarios. I'm assuming this is a tactic to hook and reel you in. I understand there are worst-case scenarios, but frankly put, she was the WebMD of law. I'm glad others have had good experiences with this firm. We certainly didn't. At least, not with said female.

Although Mr. Salinas is highly recognized as one of the best, if not the best Criminal Defense Lawyer in all of South Texas, I have to say he’s the GoTo Attorney for Family law. He never sugar coated anything. He was brutally honest and presented worst case scenarios. However, he made a vow to fight and work Diligently in order to win my custody case. I am forever grateful for Mr. Salinas, his team of experts and his tenured and highly qualified staff. Thank you Rick for protecting my rights as a mother. Irma Anzaldua
