Ms Fard wanted to charge me a $4000 retainer for filing an official complaint + a 30% contingency fee if we won the case. I came to know the norm in the industry is 15% contingency for representing clients in my type of a case. I received the same offer for representation from several attorneys. Ms Fard was more interested in making money than helping me.
