Michigan State University has a beautiful campus. The campus really shines in the summer and fall. The red brick buildings are iconic. Close to a commercial hub with shops and restaurants. The red Cedar River is a gorgeous river that runs through MSU campus. Spartan Stadium is imposing. Many statues and sculptures scattered throughout campus. Parking is a nightmare though.
Great times this was my first college football game unfortunately they were beat by Maryland pretty bad.. but the tailgate and the grounds were awesome… fun fun times.. The marching band and the Dance team put on a fantastic performance before during and after the game!!!
Beautiful landscape. Great tree care. Unfortunately the lawns are mowed too short and a lot of grass turns brown. The Board is known to make questionable decisions. Selling land off and overpaying for construction. Roundabouts have been ditched for annoying traffic signals. Buildings are maintained to a great standard. Unfortunately some offices are in the wrong building, even though there are plenty of empty rooms & offices all over campus to facilitate better placement. The university highlights their agriculture school as being a leader against climate change, but too often they act as a rubber stamp for new pesticides. The problem with American universities has nothing to do with Marx or socialism, and everything to do with a mindset of greed and corporate plundering. There are great people at this institution. I pray our society finds a way to oust the usurpers.
