Went there for help with a custody issue. Our mutual agreement stipulation needed to be changed for the custody portion. The rest of the document could stay the same. First, it's $100 consultation fee. That's the first time I've ever had to pay for a consultation. Secondly, this was a mutual agreement document so there wasn't going to be any cost associated with that. Only part of the document needed to be changed not a huge amount. Originally, the document was $500 to have completed. She wanted a retainer of $3, 500. If there was a legitimate reason for this then fine. But if there was it should have been explained.
