Jon Evan's is the worst attorney in Austin! He was hired by the state and also wanted to collect extra $50k from me. Our family was going through a time of sorrow and stress. He wanted to take advantage of the situation. When we told him that we didn't have the money he seemed angry every time we tried talking to him. We told him that we didn't have that kind of money. If an attorney gets appointed to you the state takes care of it. He was extremely unresponsive, unreliable,RUDE and mean. He finalized the case by bashing my family. He excused himself for a bad outcome of the case by bashing my family and making me look bad in public. Many times Mr Evan's was reading from blank pages when it was his turn to litigate in court. He would show up unprepared. He never had good disputes to say. I saw it because I was sitting next to him. He did nothing for us!! But embarrass us. He is the worst. Good luck to you if you choose to use him. He did nothing for this case but collect a paycheck from the state. I will never in a million years use him again!!!????????????????????????????

To sum things up, he's all bark with no bite. Like most attorneys he will gladly take your money. This post is to inform people to watch out and save your money. It is supposed to be about the children but Mr Lusk barely prepared for our case. After we lost our hearing I really needed him to give me advice. I called and emailed with no response for 23 days but when I emailed him to let him know that his "services" wouldn't be needed. He said he understands how I feel. This is a warning to who ever reads this. He is a cash grab attorney.

Jon Evans is a great guy and great attorney. If you hire him his goal will be to get your case dismissed. But that takes time and you will need to be patient. You are not his only case, don't hound him for answers. Your case is being worked on ????. Good luck and don't talk to the police without Jon representing you.
