Easy case, my ex didn't want to respond to mediation request so needed a lawyer. Ended up paying over $4,000 for paperwork and mediation help. Paralegal was wonderful, but lawyer refused to ask for lawyer fees nor would he include childcare costs. I felt like a uneducated woman who's requests were insignificant. Asking for their help was a mistake.

I called this law firm 2 weeks ago to see if any lawyers can help with a dispute on a student loan. I called asking if anyone could give me advice about my situation and the secretary or whoever she was put me on hold to see if anyone could help me, she got back onto the phone and said “the lawyer who would know about this is in a meeting, can I get your name and number and I will call you back later today to get you set up with a appointment” so I gave her my information said bye and hung up. I waited all day for the call back and never received one. Figured since my husband and I worked with this law firm in the past when we needed help with changing our daughters last name why not work them again to see if they can help me with my situation. They we’re very professional in the past but very unprofessional with not giving me a call back. I wouldn’t recommend this law firm to anyone looking for one. So here I am three weeks later still on the hunt looking for a honest reputable lawyer.

Worst attorneys I have ever met. They found a way to get the judge to make me pay more to my ex-wife than even she and her attorneys were asking for. They took 10k from me and I was totally screwed for it. Beware! They constantly ignored my calls and emails, kept me in the dark throughout the process. My life would have been so much better if I had found any other law firm.

A dead dog would have provided better representation than this firm. Almost $7000 to agree to everything that my ex wanted and the attorney couldn’t even be bothered to show up in court (appeared by phone). Now almost two years later, I’ve almost got them paid off, and I can start paying my ex.

Everyone at Maceau Law was wonderful, they were easy to work with they utilized the time spent together efficiently in order to reduce my costs of working with a lawyer through my divorce. They kept me in the loop through the whole process and my attorney arrived early to the court date to walk through what I would have to do at the final orders hearing. They saved me so much time and trouble of doing the divorce on my own. Best decision I have made and was definitely worth the money to get help with the divorce.
