My deceased husband used Mark Eghrari to create an Irrevocable Trust so that I could remain in the house till I die. As the beneficiary I am entitled to have a copy. It was not given to me. My personal attorney has requested it for months! WHAT IS HE HIDING? WHY IS HE REFUSING TO GIVE ME A COPY? STAY AWAY FROM THIS ATTORNEY !!!
Disappointed with his service. His support team is excellent but Mark is another story. During the process he didn't listen to what I needed or directly told him I didn't need. I didn't feel like one of clients but rather another opportunity for him to make some extra cash. He pushed hard with a sales pitch to invest my savings with his group even after I told him I was pleased with my current advisor. After the trust was completed, I needed to make a change to a few documents and his fee estimate was 77% of the cost to complete the entire trust. I found another attorney to complete the change for half the cost.
I would avoid Mark Eghrari. Back in 2011, for absolutely no good reason he made a revocable trust the beneficiary of my father's very modest IRA. My father died 4 years ago, and to this day we have not been able to resolve this situation. Unfortunately the custodial bank allowed this IRA account to be opened dispite the red flags. To do this day the bank's legal department and other estate planners have no clue how to resolve the issue. The response is always the same...we have never seen a trust the beneficiary of an IRA. Revocable trusts should not be the beneficiary of an IRA, at least in this situation. When we discussed this issue with him four years ago, he wanted $20,000 to correct a problem he created. This compensation was outrageous considering the fact the IRA was valued well under $100,000. I would highly recommend all family members participate in creating a trust, thoroughly reading and understanding the final document. In my case, back in 2011, my father had dementia, and really had no clue what he was agreeing to,
We have been clients for fifteen years. We have been to 2 seminars, one back in 1996 and one very recently. 15 years ago we initially used the services of Mark Eghrari and we recently just updated our trust. The newsletters that we receive regularly have been very helpful in keeping us abreast of what’s going on. Mark is always very nice, pleasant and professional. His staff is very professional and always a pleasure to work with, as well.
5 stars, excellent experience, 10 years of exceptional service. Staff was very helpful and hospitable, beautiful environment in the office. Mark staff always available to answer our many questions. My daughter and son-in-law are now estate planning with Mr. Eghrari. So helpful and kind when my husband passed. Mr. Eghrari’s services are not once and done, he establishes a relationship with his clients to help them with the events that we almost face, his services make these times more manageable. Thank you to Mark and his staff.
