I am going to say that this company did exactly what I paid for. We had a tree fall on some of company doors. I sent the pictures and wrote the explanation proving that it was totally beyond my control.. The responses were immediate. And I received my check in the mail as promised 2 weeks later which is today. I cannot speak for anyone else. My experience has been great. We paid them for a year and a half of premiums and I’m glad I chose this company because they actually covered my claim. I personally recommend them. And I have the check in the picture to prove it…. Thank you guys for insuring my company..

Roughly a year ago we had a company restore all our balconies at our condo association. After they finished we received a bill the next day. I noticed that the glass on my glass doors to our balcony were severely pitted due to a grinding tool throwing out hot metal bits at a high speed and temperature. The metal bits were burned into the glass. Sitar (the company we used )refused to acknowledge or accept responsibility so we contacted Evanston insurance. The communication from them was horrible. We sent pictures and a story of what took place. Our HOA board felt bad for us and gave us a check to get the door and side window replaced. The insurance company accused us of trying to double dip and get money twice. We had already told the insurance company that we want the money to go back to our association. Now Sitar gets off with no responsibility and so does Evanston insurance. Both are a joke and should be put out of business.

This company sucks. DO NOT let them take your premiums you will be very sorry Screwed me around for over a year on a simple water claim. Used dishonest adjuster w/ Tenco Services, Todd O'Meara, the pits. Have a front company Markel Claims that will just stall and put things off. have had to invoke appraisal clause in policy, and we are getting ready to sue them. RUN, RUN, RUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion this Markel (Evanston Insurance Company) is in violation of RICO statutes and needs to be held accountable for a paradigm of fraudulent insurance practices. I am currently putting together such action and plan to bring forth.

Hope you never have to call this guys.please stay away from this insurance company,took them 4 months to settle a claim,half the time operator doesn't know adjusters names who work there.
