We hired Ms. Farah Ahmed to help finalize a stepparent adoption for my children by my husband. From the beginning, Farah was professional and responsive. She provided us with all of the information we needed and always let us know what the next step in the process was. She was always in touch with the home study social worker and very efficient in the final court date with the judge. Honestly, she made it very easy for us, even with all the pandemic concerns going on. I would definitely recommend this firm and Farah for help in your family law cases. Thank you again!
I retained Patricia and her team to get me through my divorce that had issues with child custody and substance abuse issues. They were able to guide me through the entire divorce process and I ended up coming out the other side with exactly what I was seeking. It was important to me that tough, but fair, was the tone from my side through the entire process and Patricia executed that plan to a T. They were professional and good communicators and I'd recommend them for divorce proceedings to anyone.
As a father of one 17 years old boy and 15 years old girl, I wanted to get the custody of my children. You can image how hard it would be. First it was hard to find an attorney who would like to represent the case. Even if I found, they might just try to get more rights instead to get the custody. Thirdly, it would be very hard to win for my case. However, I found Patricia, who, represented me, tried to get what I pursued and won. Patricia is an excellent attorney. When I first met her, she quickly caught the key points and understood what I pursued. She focused on clients’ need and was willing to try for me. After I interviewed 7 attorneys, I immediately hired her. Patricia explained me all the procedures. She provided the guidelines for me to prepare the testimony. She focused on material facts and nature. She worked hard. Sometimes we had the conference call during the weekend. Paula, the paralegal, is also very professional. She read all the documents I prepared. She read my Final Decree of Divorce and found the more violations of my ex, which I did not know before. And she acted quickly and efficiently and always answer my questions timely. The fee is reasonable and may be saving.
To say my case was a challenging one would be an enormous understatement. Of all the child custody cases filed in the United States each year, one of the narrowest categories of victory in court is "father winning custody of special needs child from biological mother". Patricia explained what needed to be done, laid out a plan of action, and coached /educated me every step of the way. We won. It wasn't easy, just like she said it wouldn't be...but in the end, my son will stay in the only home he's really ever known, most importantly, he'll stay with me. Is Patricai Brown a good attorney? Patricia Brown has become my good friend, who also happens to be the best attorney I've ever met. My highest, 5-Star recommendation to Patricia, Paula and the entire staff at Patricia Brown & Associates. You will not be disappointed in the results, and maybe equally as important...you will really like your attorney. -Steve Fohl
