So James was my family attorney assigned to me by prepaid legal AKA Legal Shield! My divorce was probably one of the worst poorly handled cases. My ex husband got everything in the divorce house, cars, money and I walked away with having to declare bankruptcy since James said it was the only way out! I made a fraction of what my X did and I had a court order saying I had to pay him for the next five years. Four years later and I'm still fighting to keep a roof over my daughter and I heads and my family together. They are worth they fight.... But James Edwards isn't worth it! Delaware isn't a woman state and if you don't have the money your screwed....

Charged double for child custody that the lawyer was horrible handling. In negotiations the lawyer was against my interests almost negotiated on the side of my ex. It was unbelievable.

I looked online thru several different attorneys.. I was looking for someone who had alot of experiences with landlord tenant violations and who would be the best attorney for us to go for a consultation with. This practice had very high remarks on how they handled situations like mine.. WELL I WAS PROVIDED WITH JUST THE OPPISITE!! I had a meeting with James Edwards and he seemed knowledgeable about code violations but when it came time for him to help us make a decision on what the next step should be and advised me of my rights. He was NO help with any of that!! He gave us nothing but facts that we already knew and told us that the only way that we could get back at our landlord or get them in trouble was to call code enforcement and have them come out and look at the house and make a list of everything that needs to be done and have it done that way but as for me having a lawsuit he said I had nothing of the sort when originally I don't even have a proper lease and the house property is not even listed as a rental property so my landlords are doing illegal practices and Im told i have no rights. I wouldn't sugest anybody go there! And if so don't waste your time going to see James Edwards it was a complete waste of my $200 we left there just as confused as when we walk through the door! And we still don't have the issue resolved
