Have to give them at least 1 star or can't write the review, so here we go. Academy Title acted as the closer in a property transaction 4 years ago. Now comes time for buyer to refinance the mortgage. The potential refinance bank discovers that Academy Title never had seller fill out the HUD Full Disclosure form which should have listed all work done to the property. The bank also finds that Academy Title never advised client that they needed to supply the buyer with an annual IRS Interest Form 1098. Seriously thinking Academy Title may be helping their clients in committing Tax/Interest income fraud.
