Dr McDonald and his team are the best. He performed rotaor cuff surgery on me two weeks ago, and in the past he scoped my knee. None of it’s any fun, but I have felt I was in the best of hands throughout both procedures.

Dr. McDonald is without a doubt an excellent surgeon. He not only has done his surgery to perfection, he took time to listen to my concerns and fears with honest compassion and regard with continued monitoring. I know I'm headed to a complete recovery.

My understanding is Michael D. McDonald, M.D. does NOT want to do hip surgery on a smoker. Ok then just say NO! While getting seen for my my hip that needs replaced, he grabbed my leg and twisted and turned it HARD, No one has ever treated me this way (including other doctors he works with).. While trying to decide what to do. I suffered for a MONTH. They actually had me scheduled for surgery, when i realized I did not trust that I wouldn't be manhandled during surgery. I called and canceled the surgery, and am still in pain from what he did. I was not in pain before the office call.. Now i get to wait for a new doc. AND Now he gets to learn what a rating on google really is!

Doctor McDonald was polite, kind, trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable. He spoke in terms that could be understood. Doctor McDonald is a "regular" guy. Approachable, professional and friendly. His staff is a reflection of himself.

Just had my second total hip replacement done by Dr McDonald. Northwest Orthopedic Specialists are fabulous. Everyone is kind, knowledgeable, and willing to listen and believe the patient. I have recommended them to people already and will continue to do so. We drive up to Spokane from the Tri-Cities and it is absolutely worth the extra time driving to be seen quickly and competently.
