I would have to discourage the use of this law office. My niece attempted to file a case with them, but did not meet the criteria. The office collected $165 as a down payment, but was not able to file a case, which they discern easily before preparing any documents. They had the nerves to tell her they would refund $95, as the credit report fee was $70. People do your math. No other attorney would do a thing like this. Do not do business with an office that will not quote their fees upfront. Do not give an office a deadline, so that they give you an appointment the day before then pressure you to sign blindly, as they sneak in exorbitant fees and put you in a worse situation. Please reach out through 211 or 311 to find helpful resources. But by all means, do yourself a favor...DO NOT USE THE OFFICE OF JIMMY MCELROY....

The office staff here is the awesome. MR McElroy is such a nice guy , the ladies who work the front desk are super professional and they definitely aren’t judgemental here.I came in very apprehensive but the entire staff makes you comfortable and make sure they are able to answer all of your questions.Thanks for helping me when I felt like I was at my lowest point I’m truly grateful for all of your hard work . If anyone is hesitant about visiting this office please don’t be!

I don’t know where to start ,my husband had to file and he went to the Mendenhall location .. the Mendenhall office needs to CLOSE DOWN.. The staff has No clue what they are doing by phone, you have to go inside to wait over an hour to ask a question to STILL GET NO ANSWER FROM JIMMY MCELOROY JUST A VERY NASTY ATTITUDE AND HE WONT LISTEN AND WILL TRY TO TALK OVER YOU.. These ppl will file whatever they want even when you so NO.. and try to tell you about what you KNOW YOU’VE PAYED with PROOF IN THEIR FACES and still say that it’s late???????? Even with proof (they HATE TO BE WRONG) .its been a real nightmare and I’ll tell you this YOU WILL BE OUT OF MORE MONEY THAN SAVED.. DONT GO TO THEM IM WARNING YOU ITS A HUGGGGGE MESS OVER THERE..DONT GOOOOO PLEASE DONT DO IT..especially if you have a mortgage.. They’re Going to Screw You Up and OVER….OUR MORTGAGE WAS NEVER LATE NOW IT IS SINCE THEY ADDED IT AFTER my husband said NO.. HE SAID NOT TO ADD it and was Checked on the list to Not ADD IT…THESE PPL ARE CROOKS AND DONT KNOW ANYTHING.. They have been giving my husband the run around to go back to court and drop the house (it’s like Jimmy got and had an attitude but I caught one too when he kept trying to convince Me we was late and I’M the one that pays it EVERY MONTH and showed that fool My bank statement where it was paid..all I’m a say is You have been warned don’t do it ppl they’re going to make matters worser for you especially if you have mortgages they’re going to sneak it in without your knowledge DONT DO IT

This law firm handled my case with true professionalism, from start to finish. There is None other than Mr. McElroy that you should talking to about your bankruptcy. Or you will be wasting your time.

They have helped me with my situation. The staff is great. They actually help you with questions and don't make you feel like you're beneath them. When you go before Mr. McElroy make it short and sweet. Have all your information and documentation when you get there. Listen and do everything they say. I advise anyone before doing bankruptcy, do your homework. Know what you are getting yourself into.
