I was referred to Dr. Messerman by my holistic physician, and am so thankful for his work. He is extremely talented in dentistry, and his work was life changing for me. My health improved dramatically after he removed the mercury fillings from my mouth. I have had a lot of dental work throughout my life, including braces and jaw surgery, and I can honestly say my experience with Dr. Messerman was probably the best. He had to put several crowns in after the mercury filling removal, and they all fit well & comfortably right away; 20 years later, they are still serving me well. Dentists I’ve been to since then have commented on his exceptional work. I moved out of state 12 years ago and have never found a dentist of his caliber again; a recent bad experience with a dentist giving me a crown (which, among other problems has thrown off my bite & reaggravated TMJ pain) has me thinking it would be worth a trip to Cleveland to be in the skillful care of Dr. Messerman again. His level of skill & talent is uncommon and he obviously is passionate about what he does and committed to excellence. His fees are well earned and well deserved.

You get what you pay for here. This is not a conveyor belt system, where there are 10-15 patients a day and you are one of them. Here the cleaning is twice as long and as thorough compared to every other place I’ve been. If you are getting work done, you are one of two patients a day. I first found Dr Messerman when looking for a biological or a holistic dentist because I had quite a few mercury fillings that needed to be removed properly. Very good experience - alternative breathing source, a full mouth dam, protective eye wear. If you want it done properly, look no further. Dr Messerman is thorough and is a perfectionist. I trust him completely. My old crowns from other dentists look like a blob of ceramic, here, my crown looks like an actual tooth; in fact you wouldn’t be able to tell at all. Plus, everyone in the office actually cares.

I agree with the other one star review. The receptionist is prejudiced and you have to wait a month or longer for an appointment. Their prices are too high, and they take unnecessary xrays. The dentist seems nice, but that is just to win over your money. Do yourself a favor and don't go to this office. I think those other 5 star reviews were bought. Make sure you know their prices. $400 bucks for x rays and consultation. If you want your teeth cleaned that's an entirely different bill!!! BEWARE. I wouldn't take my dog here.

Office is run well with caring and talented staff and dentist. Impressed at how the business is operated.

When you have a well trusted and highly qualified dentist, driving 6+ hours is well worth the trip.
