In April 2017 I met with Mr. Ries to file for my provisional patent. After paying him and sharing my idea, he told me that my patent will be filed within a few days after I email him all the paper work. I was so excited I rush home and got all the documents out to him. I emailed and called for at least a week with no answer and voice mail full. When I finally got in touch, he response was "I though I sent it out, I will get it done right away" Another week or so past by and I called again with many no answers and voicemail full. When I finally got in contact, again he said that he thought that he filed by pstent. He just got a divorce and just moved and he will get it done asap. At this point it's June and I wanted to start showing potential investors in May. It is now October 2017 and I have called several times and no answer or email returned. This is very shameful and I do not think that is an appropriate behavior for an Attorney. You can't play with someone well-being like that. I am now in the process of hiring a law firm. No client should have to chase down their attorney for six month with no avail. I hope that this is not what you do with all your clients because you should not be practicing law
