We used Mr Kliff for a few years, we ended up going elsewhere for a few reasons. First, he uses a tedious online program for us to upload documents into and communicated to us through the website and we were often confused. Second, when we spoke on the phone to try to clarify issues, it did not help much -- we found him to be confusing and he seemed irritated and impatient. Then he told us that we were totally at fault for miscommunications. The wife and I are both fairly educated so most likely he would have some role to play in any miscommunication but he took no ownership of the situation and blamed us as if to try to find out who is at fault (instead of working together like a team). He was unfortunately very unprofessional, and then when we asked for our files as we used another accountant to file, he billed us the full rate, over $300. We went to another accountant and sat down with her and had everything done in about an hour and ended up getting more back on the return by about $1,000. I recommend just using a standard accountant where you can go into their office, sit down with them, go over everything, and be done. If you do use Mr Kliff, you may want to schedule an in-person appointment and try to avoid all the back-and-forth communications through his Intuit website.
