Kari took my father’s case and failed to represent him properly. She didn’t even attempt to get the $250,000 of back insurance premiums that were rightfully his. She didn’t fight for him but she won because it was a closed case anyway. However, she asked for attorney fees that were so high that the judge laughed at her and denied her attorney fees. Later she found out that my father won his other case which was represented by a good attorney and she is now trying to take my 73 year old father’s money. She is a disgusting attorney. I wouldn’t recommend her bc she is not going to do a good job until she starts to sue you! She is a manipulative attorney who can’t do her job unless it involves taking advantage of an elderly person. My father would have been better off representing himself... she received $16k for minimal work, but is now suing my father for 158k... before she was hired, he had already represented himself for more than half of the case during a 1.5 year time period. She failed to do simple legal procedures including failure to notify opposing counsel, which led to her losing a large amount of attorney fees that were granted to her. She was asking for $98,000.00, when the opposing counsel who was on the case from beginning was only asking for $30,000.00. She is money hungry con who can’t do her job unless it involves taking advantage of an elderly man. She is unethical and under qualified for the work she promised to deliver. She screwed up and now she wants my father to pay for it when she was already paid what the judge granted her which was $6,000.00 more than her $10,000.00 retainer.. stay far away from this lawyer and her deceptive firm.
