I had a horrible experience with Miller Mayer relating to a real estate sale.nThe firm says it cannot guarantee the outcome of its services but they used this to deny compensating me for damages resulting from its delivering substandard legal services. nnSpecifically, the lawyer representing me as the seller of real estate failed to keep me apprised of incoming communications from the buyer's attorney; failed to inform me that changes to the contract resulted from their not responding in a timely manner to the buyer's attorney; they failed to inform me of changes to the existing contract; and they failed to discuss options available resulting from the changes to the contract. That their recommended strategies for dealing with the problems that arose where bad was disappointing but certainly not nearly as distressing as learning 3 days before the scheduled closing that your lawyer was sitting on incoming communications from the buyer's attorney for the past 28 days and that it put the whole sale into question.nnIn short, the sales contract had four terms and none were enforced by my lawyer and it cost 10% of the net proceeds from the sale, extended the time frame for the sale by a month, and caused a great deal of unnecessary stress.nnAvoid using them for real estate at all costs.

Jim Miller is a smooth criminal with a Mad Man-esque form. If you are a husband looking to toss your little lady in the gutter, look no further than, Astaghfirallah, dont say it too loud - Jim Miller - el shaytan.

Went there with my girlfriend for help with her VISA status. They gave us misinformation and also tried to change the time of the meeting 4 hours before it was scheduled, emailed my girlfriend at 12:00 meeting at 4:00. They still held the meeting luckily because I took an hour off work so we could make it there in time. The attorney who advised us didn't seem to know much about this subject, she told us she had to ask other attorneys in the office about information. To me it seemed like she had no experience with this and was trying to look up information on the fly. The international affairs lady at TC3 knew more then she did. She was very nice but I think she specializes in some other subject and the firm just threw her at us to make money. We contacted my girlfriend's family's lawyer in Florida and found out there were multiple things she told us that were not true. Be careful with this firm was not at all impressed.
