Monica represented me for my divorce and hiring her was more of a mistake than my actual marriage itself. She promised to protect my assets only to tell me on more than one occasion in the heat of the moment that it was "best to settle", leading me to sacrifice more than I ever thought imaginable. I feel very strung along and that she was very falsely reassuring. As two other reviews indicate here, I can confirm the validity that her secretary was rude multiple times and terrible with communication and often couldn't even distinguish my first name from my last, 6 months after becoming their client. To top it all off, after having paid the initial retainer and being told i would be informed if and when more money was due, I just received a $5,800.00 invoice for charges dating back as far as 7 months ago. Do not book this firm, it is clear both Monica and her secretary are both too worn out of their jobs, extremely unprofessional and not dedicated to their clients, but only to their own personal impending retirement plans.

Her secretary is beyond rude! She is down right cruel to not only clients but to anyone she speaks with. There were so many billing issues and mishaps with communications not getting to the attorney due to the incompetence if her secretary, that we didn't have information needed in court that WE supplied her via email and the secretary didn't print off. I have personally seen boxes of client files stored in their public waiting room with files open and readable to anyone who would walk up to them. There are cats in her office and the amonia smell of cat urine fills the whole place, not to mention the car hair... Would not recommend this law firm to anyone who wants fair representation or to be treated like a human.

Her prices are too high. She don't follow through with her responsibilities. Her assistant is very rude. We had to deliver service which is part of what she is paid to do. She don't follow up to correct her mistakes and she made many. She came recommended, but I would not recommend her for anything.

Monica and her office personnel of just one awesome secretary are top notch professionals. Ive had trouble finding legal help that gave me positive feelings towards my probate issues but not after today. My questions were answered with true confidence and from a very knowledgeable stand point. I may have to give 20 more reviews because this lawyer is definitely worth more then 5 stars.
