I recently went to mediation with my insurance company. Mr. Manuel Pérez-Leiva, J.D., LL.L was assigned as our mediator. This was a new experience for me and Mr Pérez-Leiva was excellent throughout. He coordinated the meeting with all parties and was professional and easy to work with. I consider myself fortunate to have the benefit of his expertise.

It is probably very rare that an opposing party will write a positive review on the attorney that initiated suit against him, but after seeing Mr Schu's review (I believe this was the same individual, whose real name is Schuster, that initiated suit against me that was represented by Attorney Perez-Leiva) I felt compelled to offer my perspective. Attorney Perez-Leiva was extremely professional and ethical in every respect. He genuinely sought to resolve the dispute as fairly, rapidly and inexpensively as possible while remaining a strong advocate for his client. While we were not able to resolve our matter to his client's satisfaction, I wanted to set the record straight as he made a genuine attempt to do so. In any circumstance that would not represent a conflict for me to engage him, I would be the first to utilize his services and I highly recommend him to anyone else.

We had the pleasure of having Mr. Perez-Leiva serve as a mediator for a case in litigation. Mr. Perez-Leiva is very knowledgeable of the law. He was also very patient, which played a big part in the resolution of our client's case. I recommend him as a mediator.

Mr. Perez-Leiva has shown himself to be a conscientious advocate for his clients, often finding practical solutions to problems. I am happy to recommend him as an attorney in the areas of litigation and mediation.
