Money driven! Will make a motion in a heart beat to have the facts squashed if she didn't get paid first...than doing what's best for the kids. Met with my daughter 5 times prior to me even being aware of it. Then, agreed, in her "expert" opinion, with me in our first meeting that my ex wife was clearly manipulating our daughter...but sure failed to tell the judge that. I kick myself everyday for not recording that meeting. So when she lied in court...I could've just started playing the recording. I'm sure the judge would've covered it up quicker than MSNBC probably could, but I would've had proof. Those of us that live in actual reality...don't get paid until we actually do our jobs, and we also have to do them properly and with a reasonable amount of efficiency. Colossal fail! Fast forward 4 years, and we are still seeing the affects of the complete lack of ability to do ones sole purpose. But when it's not your life, not your kids...and all that money hanging our there with a system that doesn't hold her accountable...that's what we get. And as everyone already knows, the judges are happy to give your money away without question. We were forced to use her. If it happens to you, you'll be in my prayers for ever. Absolute proof of a failed system.

Ms. Murphy has been my attorney for the past nearly 5 years. I personally had an incredibly tumultuous and difficult divorce and aftermath- which is why she has been my attorney for the past 5 years. Throughout everything, Molly has always been exceedingly caring, compassionate, empathetic, and helpful through every single process that we ever had to go through. She always kept very open and clear communication. She has always been very professional. She has shared with me exchanges with all other parties including guardian ad litems,lawyers, social workers, judges, and everyone involved throughout the entire process to make sure I was well informed of everything going on and of my options. I have also recommended her to other individuals in the past 5 years and everyone that has used her for her legal services for their own experiences have had nothing but exemplary things to say about her as a person and as an attorney. I had spoken to other attorneys before contacting her office when everything started and she doesn't treat you like a number or a dollar sign or some docket entry.. she treats you like a real person and is very understanding of the fact that this is your life, not just another case for her. I stand by her as a person and as an attorney and will continue to utilize her professional services in the future, if necessary, and will always recommend her to anyone that ever asks for family law help.

Molly Murphy is a great attorney. She takes the time to listen to you. I called her today very upset and she listened to what I had to say and give me advice reminded me that things will be ok. She actually cares about her clients and what they are going threw, I’ve never met another attorney like her. She is one of a kind. I thank her so much for that

I wasn't going to shed light on this situation because honestly I was over it. If i could give Molly Murphy no stars to say this I would have. All Molly is concerned about is the money. She did not care about my kids at all. Never even met one. She was on my side until i refused to pay her. My kids were in a sad situation living with their father in a 1 bedroom, roach infested apartment. I moved from Illinois to find a lawyer because the ones back home were too expensive. Initially, they were more expensive here, so I had to walk into my trial blind. I did not want Molly, but my kids father was adamant to have the kids and wouldn't cooperate with leaving the children with me. I had been abused by my kids father and I let this be known that I did not want my children with him for this very specific reason. Molly agreed until, I refused to pay her. I had asked her more than once to initiate a home visit on my children because I didn't feel they were safe. They were calling me crying, saying their father was abusing them and the roaches were getting into their food. Molly did not conduct 1 home visit. She in turn sided with my kids father because his mother was able to help pay her. She sided with an abuser to take custody of 3 children. I was distraught so you are damn right Molly murphy, I took matters into my own hands. The courts didn't help and neither did you. Molly Murphy is a money hungry attorney who shouldn't be able to guard the decisions of any ones children. I will be filing more complaints against Molly and seeking justice against her office as well. Right now my kids father is under investigation for child abuse and neglect, so thank you Molly and the civil courts building of st. Louis,. You made sure to really do your job with the least of your abilities and i hope you pay for it.

I give one start because I can't submit the review with zero! Ms. Murphy only communicated with me once, at the beginning of the divorce process. After that, she never answered a single phone call or email. She even delegated the parenting plan to MY attorney! She is only interested in money, and not actually serving her client's best interests. She did absolutely nothing to help my case, for myself or for my ex! To top it off, in her invoice, she actually charged me for the time she spent processing my initial payment! Worst lawyer ever, she should not be allowed to practice! DO NOT HIRE!
