I had a very productive consultation with Stephan Brown, and he really impressed me with his legal acumen. I had some tough questions relating to a tax matter and he answered them all in a complete and professional manner. Frankly, I didn't expect to leave the meeting with such a complete understanding of my situation and with a very effective action plan. My kudos and recommendations to Mr. Brown and the NewPoint Law Group.
Would be rather weary of the firm. I consulted for business formation with Brown. Unimpressed with his communication and knowledge. Could have just been him on an off day but I am not sure the firm actually knows what it is doing. Skeptical of the billing practices here as well. It seems that this firm is really several firms masquerading as one, with several corporate names all doing business from the same office, with the same staff members working for multiple companies. I cannot see how they can commit to clients. Also, the multiple companies seems like they are a flight risk. I wasn't impressed and would stay away. On a side note, the receptionist seemed rather nice. So that's a small plus.
