To anyone considering hiring Norman Lehrer - here's a warning I wish I had. Don't retain him to do anything. If you're considering Lehrer that means you've probably been taken advantage of on a car deal, as suing car dealerships seems to be his specialty. Getting ripped off on a car purchase doesn't mean you need to get ripped off again hiring this guy.r He'll tell you your case is a slam dunk. He'll recommend a car inspection from some phony guy he knows that does it on the side. He'll tell you everything you want to hear about how you're going to have the car dealership people begging you for mercy.r For my case, what was supposed to be six months max to have everything done was two years. Two years of him not returning calls and leaving me in the dark of where things were. Other than getting odd bills from his office about fees for copying documents, I did hear the dealership wanted to settle, which he talked me into not accepting. r When the moment of truth came and a hearing finally came to fruition, he showed up in a cheap suit completely unprepared - cowboy style shooting from the hip. The 'slam dunk' case, the 99% chance of winning, turned out to be a loser. Even though the dealership was in the wrong and previously wanted to settle - I was out thousands more by wasting my time and money with this guy. r There are better lawyers than this - don't deal with Norman Lehrer.

Norman is great. He specializes in consumer law and in the Courtroom he is just great.
