After relocating to the PNW and buying a home, my financial advisor suggested that my wife and I create a Joint Revocable Living Trust. She sent me some information to complete, and not long after submission she called me to schedule an in person appointment with Vijay Gosalia, the attorney that we'd be working with to create the JRLT. Vijay took his time to explain the differences between a standard will and trust, and discussed our needs so we could make an informed decision.
