I would NOT recommend anyone waste their time or money on Parker Smith. If you want an attorney that will fight for you, he isn’t the one. If you want an attorney to give you the run around for 2 years, go ahead! He could never remember anything about us or our case and our defense changed so many times because of it. We were very patient in the beginning and have lost all hope that this man can help us. He will cheer for himself for helping you but in reality he has done nothing to help. We have not seen a dime of the money we are owed. He should have retired 20 years ago, his wife/secretary is running his practice for him.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Stay away from this so-called attorney. Mr. Smith has given me the run around on my case that he failed to file the appropriate documents for that lost me over $50K in child support. He's had one excuse after another and most recently memory loss. He's refused to call me back to correct his mistake so I have contacted the Florida State Bar and another attorney on this matter. He shouldn't be able to practice since he doesn't understand how judicial orders work. Stay away unless you want to lose money.

Please do not use this firm unless you like wasting time and money. This firm has given me the runaround for months now. Communication has been spotty and when phone calls are returned they last less than 10 minutes and I was always rushed off the call or talked over. Emails were almost never returned. Every time I called for advice, the advice was always either to do nothing and wait it out or that they would get an appointment set up to meet in person to discuss it at which point the appointment would never be set. This lawyer will try to pull the wool over your eyes by saying how much he can relate to your case and that he will do everything he can to help you which was the farthest from the truth. No matter how much evidence you provide it is never enough to do anything with. I had called him today to get a simple clarification on the court order that had previously been put in place to ensure I was within the boundaries of it and all he told me was to “figure it out” at the end of him rushing me off the phone. He has failed to do his job as a lawyer on countless occasions. He then tried to say it is not his responsibility nor job to help us understand legal documents and/or keep track of how much is owed to him or how much of the retainer is left. He is completely unprofessional in every aspect, he does not care about his clients, and gives off the impression that he does not care about his job. I don’t know how he got any five star reviews if this is the way he treats his clients. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Parker is a literal life saver!! We got into an intense and traumatic car accident with our baby in the car. In order to settle the case we needed an attorney to help us out with getting court approval for a guardianship settlement. I called ALL of the lawyers around the Destin, Niceville, Panama City and Fort Walton area but because we were only receiving 25k for our son NONE of them wanted to work with us. I finally went to the FloridaBar and submitted my details on there. Park INSTANTLY called me! He said this case was a piece of cake and he didn’t even make a cent off of it, the only thing we had to pay was the filing fee to the court when every other attorney around here charges almost half of the total we would be getting from the insurance... Parker has been in the business for about 50 years and said he loved doing these cases just to help kids out. He was funny, professional but also casual, incredible at calming me down and awesome at making everything extremely easy! He even went out of his way to talk to our bank about setting up the guardianship account to save me time! He got court approval within days and I didn’t even have to speak to the judge or anything! What a blessing Parker has been to us! If we EVER need a lawyer for anything he will be the only one we ever use! And we will recommend him to EVERYONE!

Do yourself a favor, pay the retainer and relax knowing your case will be go your way! I rest easier knowing I have a trusted attorney on my side.
