Ann Goodman prepared my parents' wills and they were very happy with the service she provided. When my father passed, I contacted Ann and she thoroughly explained to me the process of settling the estate. Paralegal Lynn Tyler was assigned to assist, thus minimizing the costs but providing superb services. Lynn took care of all the probate court documents, assembled the estate assets that were somewhat spread out, ensured that the tax returns were filed and was just a considerate professional to deal with (including her courtesy when I incorrectly thought she had not responded to an email, which she had; I missed it). Finally, after the estate was wrapped up, I found some savings bonds in my father's property. Lynn took care of all the documentation to get them redeemed with no further charge. I highly recommend their services.
Met with Martha in April 2024 and did not decide to go with her for representation. Four months later I receive an invoice from our Zoom consultation of $165.00! Never was I told there would be a consultation fee at any time. Never was I asked to pay a consultation fee up front OR when I booked my appointment. Never was I given a fee schedule or signed a fee schedule.There is NOTHING on their website that speaks of a consultation fee. I spoke with her assistant and was told that Martha charges a consultation fee and I was to ASSUME there would be a fee for her time. I'm not a mind reader, so if I'm not told a standard how can I assume? I never worked with a law office that works off assumptions. Filing a grievance this week. I do not recommend.
Parker Counts has provided me with very professional attention for many years. Ann Goodman is top-notch. She is very patient, knowledgable, and compassionate. Unlike many of the folks that have left reviews here, we are relatively new to the Parker Counts Firm although a member of our family has been a client for years and years. That was a great recommendation for us. Ann Goodman and her team of Lynn and Donna have been great. While we have a modest estate they treated us like we are royalty while charging us reasonably. We sleep better at night now that we have our estate in order and we expect we will be working with the firm over the years as we will need to modify the documents as circumstances change. If you need wills, trusts and medical directives ( and you do) this is the place to go
Upon the passing of my father, we used Parker Counts to handle the settling of his estate. Ann Goodman and her staff were very professional and accommodating. I appreciate all the time and effort she spent on our behalf. I would highly recommend Ann to anyone needing estate work done.
