My brothers court appointed attorney. Dude rarely responds to phone calls and so far has been the worst attorney I have ever seen. Most public pretenders aren't very good but this guy sets the bar even lower. Forgot to show up to court and now my brother has a warrant. Getting ready to file a complaint with the gd bar. This guy is the WORST. When the prosecutor sees Jerome is the attorney on the case, they know they have got an EASY WIN. This dude folds like a lawn chair and ready to plea at any given moment to make his case load lighter. Update - Jerome was suppose to represent my uncle and never came by to visit him while he was in jail. Went like 6 months in jail without talking to his attorney, Jerome. Meanwhile, my uncle court date just got moved further and further and further out. Basically treated guilty until proven innocent, not the other way around. Jerome - please make a career move, being an attorney is not for you sir.

Never been there but called for a friend who was being represented. Not friendly and seemed, put out....by my questions. Doing pro bono work for Person County. Not getting normal rate, thus in most public pretender cases is common for not providing the best representation but simply disposing cases in order to keep up with the demand. This law firm is a private practice, also providing for inmates requesting attorney due to lack of money.

By far the worst court appointed lawyer person county has to offer... Smh i would rather represent myself. He never returns phone calls or messages and he lets clients sit in jail for months at a time without any contact.

If I could give 0 stars I would. He didn't even listen to my side of the story. He didn't care at all if I was not guilty. Told me I could take a deal or go to trial and receive a worse sentence. Didn't have a heart at all. He shouldn't be allowed to practice law.
