Mr. Meyer is a leader and certainly amongst the most distinguished Attorneys currently practicing in Orange County, California . Armed with confidence beyond that of any Judge, Mr. Meyer humbly helps clients, often regardless of their economic status. However, those with unlimited resources know whose door to knock on at the 14th Hour. As a colleague who has stood by him in Court for the past few years, let me be clear that this review is unsolicited. At the end of the day we ALL want our "google" to remain honest and to remain reliable. Our information and decision making, particularly in the context of our personal freedom, is serious enough to take this small action in kind. Paul deserves the recognition unabashedly. (As to the review below)... I suppose if a human being commits a heinous crime, causing a real tragedy... in America they are nevertheless afforded a Constitutional Right to an Intelligent Defense. Helping someone who committed a crime can have the appearance of friendship, or prosperity, however I assure you there is NO behavior ratification here, NO, this is strictly professional. If you happen to disagree with the notion that a wealthy creton should be afforded such a right, please take it up with the founding fathers, otherwise, libeling Mr. Meyer publicly gives you the appearance of neither strength nor wisdom, rather... it just cheapens my "google" by spreading misinformation. If my freedom was in jeopardy and a victim or their relatives insisted on embellishing facts or damages-- in excess of what was called for-- out of anger, resentment and grief, of course, I too would pay top dollar to make sure that I was not going to be punished more severely than what was called for. I don't think any less of a defense attorney because of their client's crimes, that pain is certainly understandable, however your connection between the two is irrational or, okay, it is unconstitutional... (same thing in my book.) Finally, if Mr. Meyer charged this particular client less would that make him more honorable...not really. It is a backbone to the fundamental policies of our forefathers, and frankly fulfilling the societal role of executor of the laws, in Court anyway, well, that presents it's own troubling ethical decisions, fortunately for me, questioning that document was never really that hard. best of luck. -Mark Atias
