My mother passed away under the care of a local health care provider. I had questions regarding the care she received, and whether those involved in providing her care were deficient and possibly negligent in handling her healthcare requirements. During this period of time my mother resided in a Senior Living facility in Kansas City, MO. I performed research on various law firms in the Kansas City metro, which included reading many online reviews. Subsequently, I decided to contact Peterson & Associates, since a majority of the reviews identified the law firm as a result driven, high caliber team of professionals. Initially I spoke with a Peterson & Associates staff member via phone, and provided a host of information. Following several calls, a meeting was scheduled at the firm’s downtown office. At this initial consultation I met attorney Kevin Young. He was very personable and courteous, introducing himself and explaining his role in handling my case. I found his demeanor professional and forthright. Throughout the entire case, during every phone call and meeting, Mr. Young was patient with my many questions. I could see and believed he was invested in my case 100%. Recently during October 2021 a favorable settlement was reached in my case. The passing of my mother was an extremely sad and difficult event. However, the efforts of Peterson & Associates, most notably Mr. Kevin Young, helped bring my family the resolution and closure we needed.

They came to the hospital where my family member was, collected the information they needed and let me know to expect more communication from them. When my family member passed away they even sent flowers. I knew my case was going to be a marathon and just wanted vindication for my family. There were several hiccups in my experience with Peterson and Associates but I’m thankful my case landed in the hands of Kevin Young. I would literally call him a miracle worker! He was able to get my case to the point that it was ready for trial in less time than the other two attorneys I had been assigned too before him could. Obviously, I wasn’t excited being on my third attorney or about going to a trial and COVID had pushed it into the next year, but I was confident Kevin would be able to get the outcome I was hoping for. In the end, Kevin got my family and I the results we wanted. And most importantly, my family can finally close that chapter and move on. If I ever have a need for an personal injury law firm and I hope I don’t, but, I would use Peterson and Associates in a heartbeat and ask for my case to be assigned to Kevin Young!! He is a no-nonsense, straight to the point attorney and I appreciate that. I always knew if I reached out for an update or any questions he would call me the same day and have the information I needed.
