BEWARE! I hired Nicholas Politis to help me through a reconsideration of a tax audit. My previous attorneys almost let my account go into default and could have had my accounts levied. Nicholas managed to do just that. The assigned IRS agent tried several times to have a conversation and finally levied all my bank accounts to get our attention. N Politis took no responsibility and told me the agent was lying. He denied it ever even happened until I copied the text messages I had with him. I ended up having to go through the tax advocates office and hire another firm to help me. My husband and I are both elderly and disabled he could have cared less that my hone was actually put into foreclosure because of him. I only asked him to return the fees I paid him to use to pay the new attorneys. He just kept denying and blaming the IRS. The IRS agent actually was more helpful than Nicholas in trying to get my audit set up for a reconsideration. A very small and slippery man. Just do yourself a favor and find someone else.
