While successfully representing me in all aspects of my personal situation over the course of 18 months, Mr. Bayliss displayed knowledge, professionalism, and compassion every step of the way. Shawn is a wonderful and knowledgeable attorney and will always go by the letter of the law. We fought to protect and get custody of the our grandson for over 4 years. He became a very good friend over the years and I would definitely recommend him!!

Mr Bayliss has been known to lie and misrepresent the facts. He knowingly lied about my son's grades and made inappropriate and misleading comments about what was good for the kids. One of those children then tried to commit suicide being in the situation that he reccommended.

Mr Bayliss is a very intelligent and articulate attorney. I hired Mr Baylis to represent me for a divorce and for multiple other issues surrounding custody and he was appointed to me on a another occasion. This spanned the course of 4 years. I’m am giving a 2 star rating for a few reasons: 1. The final Order for my divorce took 2.5 months to get filed after the final hearing. 2. I gave him plenty of advanced notice in a specific matter and he did not file the papers. But what really concerned me is that when the judge questioned him about the issue it felt like he just completely threw me under the bus. None of that would be so bad if it didn’t have such a burdensome effect on my children, and I feel like if he put just a little more effort into the situation it would’ve turned out completely different. These are instances just in my case. As I said he’s a very intelligent attorney. It just seemed like in my situation everything was last minute and didn’t have much time and effort put into it.

If you want an attorney that actually knows the law, you want Mr. Bayliss. My ex had an attorney that acted like a lunatic and Mr. Bayliss just sat back and let her make a fool of herself, then he calmly told them all what the law was, and we won. Don’t let his laid back personality fool you, he is a shark. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!
