You’ll hear Rick is one of the best and without question he is. Trust the process and trust the professional. Do what you can to help yourself and let Rick fight the battle in court. A couple things that stand out with Rick. First, when you hire Rick Kayne you GET Rick Kayne. You’re not getting some associate or fresh out of college grad. Second, you won’t get a better lawyer for the money. He’s probably too fair to be honest. I mean what price can you put on freedom. Last, ask around, everyone knows him or he seems to represent them. That’s not by accident. He’s a busy man but he’ll always find the time if you make the effort. Rick, I appreciate everything you did for me. Richard Kane is a very difficult person to reach. I messaged him multiple times and called him, and each time I felt that he was very dismissive or delayed in his responses despite his seemingly kind nature. I did not get the outcome that I wanted with my case, and he promised that “Everything would be fine. Don’t worry about it”. While I appreciated his reassuring statements, an honest and upfront response about his capabilities and expected outcome would have been ideal. I understand no outcome can truly be guaranteed, but staying in communication is top priority as a paying customer. After my case outcome I tried to reach him again to get some more information on expungement or further steps to take, and he still completely ghosted me (1 year ago now). I regret that I didn’t chose someone else as my lawyer, who could have been better at communicating and setting proper expectations. I wanted to splurge on the best of the best, but Rick missed the mark for me. I would recommend researching your options for criminal attorneys in DuPage before landing on this one.

Nothing but good things to say about him, he got 2 class x felony’s drop down unto a class 4. My case was kind of tough so he couldn’t get it thrown out but it’s still a blessing. I would highly recommend if you need a good lawyer who has your best interest at heart
