Robert Kornegay is a brilliant lawyer who does know a lot of influential people which works to his and his clients advantage. He is wise in his use of this and does not overplay his hand. I always found that he returned my phone calls and kept me up to date with all the information that was relevant to my case. I would highly recommend Attorney Kornegay for any litigation.

I give them one star because it wont allow me to not give one at all. I was in my car accident on March 27 , My case is still unsettled everytime i call the office theyre 'waiting' on something or someone. My passenger case has been settled and she recieved her settlement because she was smart enough to switch lawyers. Noone I talk to has ever seen or heard of Kornegay , even my chiropractor laughed because he's never heard of him. I havent met him either , at thjs point i feel he doesnt even exist. I would NOT recommend him to anyone, people in rocky mount better off sticking with Gulley or Hester...a couple of WELL KNOWN lawyers that actually settle and win cases.

Just because a complaint (which is rare and there have been very few) was made against Mr. Kornegay does not mean the NC State Bar found any justification to the complaint. Mr. Kornegay has never been found by the NC State Bar to have violated any Code of Ethics. He is an excellent, upstanding attorney who has been practicing in the Nash, Edgecombe and Wilson locale for 30+ years, and is well respected by those in the judicial system, his brothers in the Bar and the community.
