Got told that the fee for representation was $2,000. I increased the amount by 25% due to the challenge of the case and asked Mr. Flax to best represent me in a challenging Divorce. Mr. Flax, never provided me with legal advice and charged me hundreds to basically send emails that his wife (secretary) does. He is unprofessional, and I would not recommend him as a lawyer in any matter. If a lawyer has his client increase his fee by 25% ($500) and the lawyer accepts and signs the agreement, the lawyer should very well follow through. Or at the least communicate with his client. It was rare that I got a call from him and mainly his wife handles his business.
