I am a personal injury lawyer in Los Angeles. I represent only injured people for serious injuries. Mediation is frequently a good alternative to an expensive, frequently risky, trial which contains many unknowns. Some cases just require a trial because the litigants cannot come to agreement. Other cases should be settled and mediation is a good way for both parties in a dispute to get into a room together and talk candidly about the strengths and weaknesses of their respective cases. The mediator they are hire are the best What does that mean? That means that the mediators are personable have expertise in litigation (either as trial lawyers or as judges) and most importantly, they make the litigant feel comfortable with the process of mediation. As I stated above, some cases cannot be settled. I have appeared at mediation when a trucking company tried to get my client is accept $100,000 for the death of their father. I advised them to got to trial and the jury awarded 5.4 million. It was a fair result based on the value of the man's life. I am a fan of this facility because the odds are stacked against the injured individual in court because of many law lobbied for by the insurance industry. For example, did you know that a jury is not allowed to be told that the at fault party in a car accident has liability insurance coverage which will pay the damages verdict. The reason for that rule is that insurance companies want mislead the jury to think that the at fault person will have to pay the damages out of their own pocket.
Love it here
Very comfortable environment
Great location, very nice people. Take the Metro train, it is only a 3 minute walk from the 7th street station.
