I hired this law firm to process my divorce. They practically rushed the process and didn't defend me the way they could have.It seemed they were working more with my ex's lawyer than with me. After the court hearing they didn't file the appropriate paperwork to get my divorce decree but decided to send me a bill for hours they didn't work for. After explaining this to them on the phone multiple times and they finally said okay they saw my point of view, I receive notification that they have sent the balance to collections. I had to go to the courthouse myself in order to get my divorce decree and file the remaining paperwork. The court clerk confirmed that this all should've been handled by the lawyer not me. They are just a money machine with poor representation.And to further penalize a client for their lack of work you try to sabotage their credit. I wish to give them less than 1 star.

They are too expensive. Even when all parties are not contesting and there are no assets, no disputes whatsoever, they still charge a lot. Worse, they have outrageous tasks designed to bankrupt you. They draft a document, they charge you. They make a mistake while drafting this said doc, they charge you again for their own mistakes. And many other ridiculous unnecessary redundant tasks, because more tasks means more reasons to bill you, so they manufacture more tasks. Funny, it was the reviews from this Google map and their ad that influenced me to choose them. I regret them.

Coincidentally, outside the courtroom my 3 year old son was waiting for us to finish. I picked him up and my son and I both thanked Massa because it was going to be the first time he was going to be able to spend with me and my side of the family for the weekend. It was an emotional moment for all 3 of us outside that courtroom. If you feel you have been taken advantage of or feel helpless in your situation and need someone to fight for you, I’d call Josephia Law.

I am very happy with the people that I got to work with in my trial. This team of lawyers are amazing, flexible, and fast response to emails. Any questions or confusion that I had my lawyer would make it so I understood it. Last thing that I liked about this team of lawyers is the courage and will they put up for me in my child’s case I would recommend them to anyone both friends, and family.
