Rose Ramirez cultivates a workplace that disregards your dignity and will require you to work at 100% while receiving little to nothing in return. This is not a workplace where opinions are heard or taken into consideration. You are at the whim of an authoritative and dictator-like employer who lacks the ability to see her faults. This is not a workplace that will never see you as an equal or even close. Kindness is transactional and you will not be taken seriously in your grievances. Do not take this job unless you are equipped to deal with clique-like behavior and self-victimization dealt out by your employer.
I had a similar experience to the previous people who left reviews about applying for the HR position, which the firm has apparently been hiring for for months now. I was given a barely legible photocopy of a test with basic middle school questions - nothing pertaining to the actual job - and was told not to worry about completing all the questions because "nobody ever finishes." I completed the questions with absolute confidence of almost all correct answers and only 2-3 possibly questionable and a few omitted because time ran out, and then was told I "did not score high enough" to move forward with an interview, or even for them to bother to score my second test which I had just completed. When I asked if I may know what I got wrong, the administrator struggled to answer, literally stammering and looking around and making up nonsensical excuses about how there's not really a straightforward answer to that question. When pressed further, she estimated I answered about 10 questions incorrectly, which is when I knew for sure they were lying and did not actually score the tests and just used it as a way to get people in to their office. It's laughably transparent that they're either looking for someone with a certain appearance, or they receive some benefit from claiming they have open jobs when in fact they're not really looking to hire anyone. I wasn't even expecting to be offered this job and would not have been the least bit disappointed if they had interviewed me and said I wasn't a good fit, but the way they went about it was honestly so childish it was both comical and insulting. They truly think people are idiots, and that they will never be held accountable for discrimination as long as they use this thinly veiled excuse. I won't be shocked when I see them in the news one day.
This company discriminates against who they hire!! I am a highly distinguished HR director with more than 10 years of experience and when I arrived she looked me up and down seeing that I am a 33 young woman. She gave me a test that had nothing to do with my position, a 3rd grader could answer these questions and I am confident I got them all correct. She comes in and says I didn’t pass when the test wasn’t pass or fail..she never even spoke with me asked me about my background in the actually position I was applying for! When I asked her judging me by my appearance and she shrugged off my question. Being a law office they should know they could be sued for that type of discrimination! Do not use them for anything!
Hiring process a joke, do everything online to have to redo it in office, never even interview you they want to test you as if your in school first. Glad I didn't get hired, onto bigger better things they truly missed out on a great person.
This law office is out to take people for their money and then default on their promises. The attorneys never call you and leave all of the work up to a paralegal that knows nothing. They take months to reply to a question, yet when they need something a deadline of days is given with threats and intimidation. I have dealt with them for 6 months on a simple matter and they are yet to resolve it. Delays , excuses, reasons and no end result. Their office staff is EXTREMELY rude - not professional at all. Their reception area looks like a bomb went off very disorganized. Outgoing mail for clients is left in the open not protected. This is a terrible place.
