As I am an attorney, I know many attorneys! I had a serious personal matter. I brought the matter to John Conte, Esq., He takes took copious notes, and took an interest in what I consider the most important matter in my life. He responds immediately to phone calls and his office, paralegals and staff, promptly responds to concerns and advises of the status and direction of the case. Although Mr. Conte is very professional, he does not feign an air of superiority but rather serious conversational interest in facts, the law and winning.

Recently, a family member of mine hired this law firm to handle his NJ divorce. It was a simple divorce, as the children were all 18+ years old. He hired one attorney, who stated he was planning on retiring soon and would turn over the case to an associate. Shortly thereafter, he showed me his bills from the firm and we noticed that the original attorney and the associate were billing my family member for their time. When questioned, the firm stated that he was “consulting”.......on a simple divorce case???? That was gross overcharging from my perspective. They did not relent in this practice until we had to fire them. We could not even figure out all the double billing to be honest and could not verify the actual work because we are not lawyers. I do not trust this firm and would not hire them for anything.

This was the worst law firm I ever dealt with. I can’t prove they are crooked and thus cannot state for a fact that they are, but I personally believe they are. The lawyer I had with them badgered me constantly to accept a divorce settlement that would have rendered me in contempt the second I signed it. It was far above what I earned. He used foul abusive language to pressure me and the whole time I got the feeling he was working with the other side who was a lawyer he knew well. Once I fired them and went to court with a different attorney I had to settle for ONLY A FRACTION of what my Myerson, Fox Conte lawyer tried to force me to sign. I would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND this firm. I believe they are at the least, INCOMPETENT, and at the worst, CROOKED.

For the best legal advice, I would HIGHLY recommend Meyerson Fox & Conte, P.A. I have worked with Mr. Andrew Bolson several times, and will continue to in the future. He has provided the best legal advice for myself and my business!
