Rush No More Rv Resort And Campground

We stayed here 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We were the only ones there the last 2 nights. We loved seeing the wild turkey and deer roaming the campground. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom /shower was clean. We used the laundry room and had fun playing fussball and checkers while we waited for our laundry to finish.

Stayed here during Sturgis bike rally. Really nice place to stay. Clean showers, nice laundry facilities. Tent camping area could be a bit more level. Overall, five stars, awesome staff!

Very poor experience at this site. From the first time we stopped to check in, my husband had a very bad experience with the customer service. Reserving the RV site was a huge hassle for my husband because of miscommunication that had occurred on their end. We were told we could cut off $20 since it was such a hassle for him. When he arrived to check in and pay the bill, the owner flat out embarrassed him and refused to give him the discount he was promised (my husband even has an email confirming the discounted cost). He was SO SO rude and everyone who witnessed the encounter was appalled. We made a trip out using our RV while my other extended family stayed in cabins. Together, we had lots of kids ranging from 2months old to 13yo. This place was NOT kid friendly at all. They were constantly yelling at our kids telling them not to do this or that. They would drive around in their golf carts and watch us and our kids to make sure everyone was following the rules or not doing something they didn’t like. The pool was ice cold so the kids couldn’t stay in there longer than 15mins. If the kids put their feet in the hot tub, they’d be yelled at. Definitely do not recommend this place for families. While there too, we experienced a tornado watch and the sirens went off to take shelter. When we asked where there shelter was, they straight up told us “we don’t have one. The safest place for you is in your cabin.” How can they not have a tornado shelter?!? Isn’t that required??? Overall, save your money and go somewhere else. This site doesn’t deserve business if they can’t improve at their customer service and safety.

This campground is so far my favorite!! From the quiet grounds, spacious sites to the jacuzzi!!! Hidden in the pines and away from everything makes you feel like you are far away but only minutes from all the great stops, Sturgis, Spearfish, Mt Rushmore etc. We absolutely loved our stay here!!

Don’t reserve a spot if there is any chance of not being able to make it. There is no grace period to cancel. I cancelled on Tuesday for the upcoming weekend and no refund. Even if I had cancelled 10 minutes after making my reservation they would have charged me full price. This is very poor customer relations. They are obviously out to make a buck and could care less about their customers. Most places have a policy that you need to cancel the day before. Not these guys. Now I won’t be camping there this weekend but they will take my money. Then they will rent the spot out to someone else and make double profit. If you break down on the way, have a death in the family, doesn’t matter to them. All they care about is their bottom line. I’m all for making a profit but human decency needs a place in business as well. This campground is on my black list now. I would strongly suggest skipping these guys.
