Saint Amant & Saint Amant

First the girl at the front desk wouldn’t put me on the list to walk in saying I had an outstanding balance. Made me call the billing department after I told her via the paperwork she handed me it was a credit balance not a past due balance, still she wouldn’t let me in line to be seen until I called the billing department. After calling and her realizing her mistake, she then still made me pay $124 copayment to see the doctor even though she knew I had a $350 credit. The doctor then only gave me Covid, flu, and strep test that I don’t think were properly administered, and left there telling me I had a virus. What a joke.

The staff at Lake Urgent Care in St. Amant was polite, professional, and saw that I was seen quickly by PA Tina even though I hadn’t checked in online. Tina was also very friendly and professional as she ran tests and conducted a physical. I highly recommend Lake Urgent Care in St. Amant if you really need to be seen by a medical professional and can’t get in to see your primary care doctor for 2 weeks, as was my case.

Wait was long considering appointment was made 24 hours in advance. Total visit was about 1.5 hours. Pharmacy didn’t receive prescription and it was 3 minutes after clinic closed so no one answered the phone. Care was thorough. Just don’t think it’s entirely accurate to say this is an “urgent” care facility.

Wait was a little long, but they weren't to blame. Lots of injuries on a Thursday night and it's a ideal location for someone who doesn't want to drive all the way into town. Everyone there was very polite and professional. Got the medical attention I needed as well as any answers I had. Second time there and continues to be my go to for minor injuries rather than spending hours at the ER.

Very caring and they quickly started my care due to the nature of my medical situation. I received excellent care from Lake Urgent Care in St. Amant!
