Bad, awful lawyer (the lady) who doesn't read. It's amazing how many lawyers don't actually read -- I thought reading the proverbial fine print was their trade?? Oooh, sorry, "profession" -- lawyers get very uptight when it's anything less than a "profession".... Methinks it's the paralegals who do the actual work at this firm.
