I paid Giles nearly $10k just to have him not show several times and have the ADA "suddenly" offer a deal after years of waiting wanting a speedy trial. I was forced to plead guilty to avoid jail time and overpaid thinking I would go to trial. Giles was confronted via email and never responded. Giles talked about cheating on his wife and the drugs he did when we were on the phone the few times we did talk. He is hands down the absolute worse choice of a sell out lawyer I've ever had and I am paying for it every day. Save yourself the money, time and dignity and get a public defender. During the time he was my lawyer he had every excuse in the book showing up including his grandmother died twice to his wife who already knew he was cheating. I'd write the bar and hand over the recordings I had if this was not such a crooked county.
