I had learned about Shaffer & Engle through a mass letter I received explaining that their firm believed they could assist me in a legal matter that I have been trying to fight with the State of PA for over six years. The claim in the letter seemed too good to be true, but after extensive research about the firm, I felt I had to reach out to them. My initial call was answered by Victoria Smith. I explained my legal issue and asked to speak to Jeff Engle. Later the next day, Jeff and I had a phone conference call where I was able to ask him questions about his background and experience with this particular case law. Jeff was very professional and extremely patient. He didn’t seem to mind my questions and made sure I understood the next steps. Unfortunately, I did not initially get the outcome I was looking for and felt very frustrated. I contacted Jeff and asked how this case that seems like a slam/dunk could actually be overturned as quickly as it did and not in my favor. He explained the ruling and explained why the outcome was ruled. I told Jeff that I was majorly disappointed but I know Jeff went in there fully prepared. Several weeks later I received a letter from the State stating that they had actually overturned the decision. WE WON! Was that a surprised. (Due to confidentiality, I am speaking about my case in very general terms). Essentially, I realized from the initial end result, I knew I had chosen the right law firm for the situation. Jeff has the utmost integrity. I honestly came to this decision prior to realizing the case was overturned in my favor. Once I came to the conclusion that Jeff did everything possible, I knew that I would go back to Shaffer & Engle again. Jeff is a lawyer that will fight for you. He makes himself available and will make time to keep you in the loop. I believe because of Jeff’s actions; my life has changed for the positive forever. Check Jeff out. Jeff is EVERYTHING period. This law firm treats you like family. They make things happen with no worries. Victoria is amazing. Very patient and understanding.
