Scott Sheen & Associates has represented me in both a divorce case and a criminal case. I can’t say enough about this law firm. Everyone in the office has been absolutely fantastic to work with. Laura who is one of the paralegals has been extremely communicative. She worked tirelessly to facilitate documentation and filing for my divorce case. She always returns my calls or emails within minutes. She has been more than accommodating with all my questions and concerns. I have retained Scott's services for well over a decade, I have used him for both traffic and criminal. For all of my traffic cases, I have never lost my license and I know all cases are different. For all my criminal cases, I have not been incarcerated of anything. On my latest case, the state wanted 3-5 years in department of corrections so Scott thought it was wise to do a 402. We did a 402 and the judge came back with 2 years probation, I agreed with it just to get the case done and over with so I could move on with my life. The alleged victim would not agree with that so the state would not agree therefore, we set a trial date. During the trial in cross examination, Scott was able to meticulously get the state's witnesses to contradict themselves from their original statements. After the state closed their argument, Scott immediately filed a motion, the judge granted the motion and I was found not guilty of all charges and Scott never once had to present any of my witnesses nor any evidence. He dismantled the states case with their own evidence. I know all cases are not the same but I have and always will use Scott Sheen and associates for any time I need legal representation. I also have recommended Scott to various friends and they were more than happy with the outcome that Scott provided:)
