DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM FOR RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE PURCHASES. I didn’t even end up closing on my house and the firm charged me nearly $1,700 just to review my contract, talk to me on the phone, and send 1 email to the seller. I later found an excellent lawyer from another firm that represented me through the home buying process and was present with me at the closing table for a flat fee that was under $1000. Sherman and Silverstein charges commercial rates for residential home buying representation. I don’t plan to recommend the firm to anyone I know. There are many real-estate lawyers that offer their services at a much better value to home buyers.
