We lost our beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Alex, before her seventh birthday. It's been a hard, emotional, anxiety filled few weeks knowing the cancer took her ability to walk. Rick Shoemaker and their entire staff were very professional and sympathetic in handeling the cremation of our beloved family dog. Rick met me at the Veterinary clinic for the appointment just to make sure everything was taken care of. Even though I had only called him a few hours before. Although it was a very sad time the support of the Shoemaker staff helped ease the experience. Thank you for being there.

Long overdue review. We lost our beloved dog-Pipa 2 days after this past Christmas. Melissa was beyond caring, thoughtful, and understanding with our pet cremation. It's been 3 months since we had to say goodbye to our 13-year old black lab CJ. Losing a pet has impacted our family more than I ever imagined that it would. The staff at Five Points Vet and Shoemaker Funeral Home brought us so much comfort and peace during such a difficult time. I was so surprised and grateful for how fast the process took. We had CJ's ashes returned to us in less than 36 hours and Karen went above and beyond in order to make it as easy on us as possible (She also gave me the most amazing hug and words of advice as I prepared to speak with my kids about the cremation process). I will recommend Shoemaker to anyone who finds themselves in need of their services. They are professional and lead with compassion at every step.
