I don’t even want to give this place 1 star . No one knows what is going on with your case. You can not get anyone to help tell you what is going on . All they do is charge ,charge, charge. Shon Cook is a crook , and nothing more. Everyone else in the office is just as clueless.

YOU WANT HER ON YOUR TEAM! Shon Cook is a dedicated lawyer! She helped our family get joint custody of my niece and ultimately rescued her from an uncertain future full of chaos. She was a steadfast professional and helped us navigate through the legal system as our family does not have any experience in that realm. Her staff were very helpful and professional as well and we cannot thank them enough! She is fully invested in helping her clients get the best outcome possible. She is well connected in the legal community and works well with all ancillary professionals. Her fees are very reasonable and well worth the money! I also want to address the negative ratings I have read. They read as though they are from people simply upset they lost their case. That is unfortunate, but you cannot lay the blame entirely on the lawyer. She did an excellent job gathering information and preparing our case. Yes, we won, but even if we had not I would give her a 5 star review for her professionalism, passion, and support!

Around a year ago my ex tried to move to Texas with my daughter. She had sole legal and physical custody. I was referred to Shon and honestly didn't think we would win. I had considered throwing in the towel on more than one occasion. It was a long fight but in the end my wife and I won primary custody of my daughter. My family is indebted to Shon, we will never forget her professionalism and tenacity. She fought like it was her own daughter. I would recommend Shon to anyone, she's really amazing. 2 years later and we had to go back to court. Shon worked very hard and did an amazing job with our case. I had to testify before the judge and Shon helped me feel comfortable and confident. Needless to say we won the case and now we can continue our lives and grow as a family. I owe it all to Shon Cook.

The “Good Witch” was recommended to help our daughter with a messy divorce case. There was a lot of evidence, but Shon NEVER did anything with it and discouraged our daughter on using it. Thousands and thousands of dollars later and with nothing to show for our daughter,Shon told her she was finished with the case unless $1,500 more was paid to her. The lawyer she was against is running for judge and there is a sign on her office lawn supporting him. This said, I wouldn’t recommend the “Good Witch “. In the review before this one Shon mentioned the person that left a review wasn’t a client. I’m not either just a caring parent. I posted this review on Facebook,but somehow it got removed

I didn't feel like she was working for me.I wasn't very knowledgeable on legal matters but I felt she should get more information on the other party. She discouraged me from hiring a PI and I later I learned she could have put in a motion for discovery which she didn't. I repeatedly asked her to get more information and she refused. I believe if we had gone in with even the small amount of information I have collected since we would have won and we could have gotten so much more through discovery. She continually told me we weren't fighting the other party but in the end the ruling directly compared us without her even trying to get the info or put it put there. Heartbroken client here.
