One of the best family law attorneys in town, highly qualified and very dedicated. Most attorneys I have encountered have their primary focus on how much money they can get out of you. John is not like that. Recently, I reached out to him thinking I needed his representation, and he could have requested a $3,000 - $5,000 retainer to take the case but after a lengthy discussion, he was honest and upfront that most likely there would be no difference in the outcome and I would spend quite a few thousand dollars. That is top-notch integrity.

I was referred to Mr. Springgate from a close friend of mine. After my initial visit, I felt secure in knowing that John had not only my best interest at hand but those of my children. He's not only a lawyer but a father and understands the dynamics behind how important it is to maintain the best relationship possible within a family. He had no problem telling me, multiple times, when I was being unreasonable and gave me options that hadn't occurred to me. This is an absolutely terrible lawyer and a deeply amoral person. He DESTROYED my case; charged nearly $25000 and once I fired him, I could not continue my case with another lawyer because he did not produce ANY documents or notes about ANY work he did. He is all about dirty tricks and lying to his clients. DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER. You will regret it.
